Facebook recently added the ability to use the emoticons into Facebook comment and sometime into Facebook Status by using Unicodes of Symbols and Emotes. The Unicodes of the Symbols and Emotes will eventually turn to custom emoticons or symbols in Facebook. See the picture below.

Using the Facebook Emoticons / Emoji on Comment and Status

To use the Emoticons (also known as Emoji), Symbols in Facebook Comment (and Status), all you need to do is paste the unicodes that we gave you below into your FB comment or status.

Note: Most of the unicodes of these symbols and emotes/emoji somehow were not supported by most of popular web browser — Chrome, Chromium, Opera, or IE — that why you might only see a square(s) (ex: 🝳), but just copy the square(s) and paste to fb comment.

You might already knew that RIM had a big announcement on the recent days relating with its exclusive BlackBerry Messenger Service. Yes, the RIM has giving it exclusivity of the BBM to others platform. You will be able to use the BBM in cross platform device, at this case the Android platform and iOS.

This means, whenever the BBM available for both of those platforms, you can communicate with your friends or colleague via BlackBerry Messenger from Android device and iOS device. This including the most popular Samsung Galaxy S series, or Motorola Droid, or iPhone and iPad would be able to use the BBM.

You are a new Line user that you try to add some friend but got a problem error like this: The max limit of searches has been exceeded. id search is temporarily unavailable? Wondering why you received those error? Here is the reason behind those error.

When you try to search your friend ID (Line use user id instead of phone number — Whatsapp case– as LINE’s username) via Search by ID to often, that would trigger a LINE protection system that you been marked as activity that might try to abuse the system (spammer usually want to add as many as ID then try to send spam message to all of them). That’s why the Max limit error message shown up.

This is truly a sad sad new; a bad bad new for anyone who love to hanging out on Yahoo Messenger Chat Room. According to Official YM Blog, this Public Chat Room will be closed down by December 14th, 2012.

Even the other features such as Yahoo PingBox, Voice Phone in and out, will be discontinued either. What the reason behind this?

When was the last time you entered into a Public chat room from Yahoo Messenger, you won’t be able to after December 14 this year as Yahoo decided to discontinue Public Chat rooms and other features for its Messenger product. Other services to stop for Yahoo Messenger are Pingbox, interoperability with Windows Live Messenger and Yahoo Voice Phone In and Phone Out feature (by January 30, 2013).

I guess the reason behind this can be figure out by the model of the investment. Yahoo Public Chat Room didn’t have any significant improvement on the matter of users and advertisement. The other reason might be this Chat Rooms no longer attractive to new users instead the spammer are always take the advantages. Even with captcha protection they still can get thru it.

Of course there always a kind of disappointment because of this, but I thought it a good step for Yahoo to do it. If you one of them who love the Chat Room and didn’t want it to be removed, you must face with a brave hearth. There still a conference room that you can use as a subtitude of Yahoo Public Chat Room.

Let’s say farewell to the Yahoo Chat Room. Say Good By to it.

Note: You’ll not able to use YM for MSN Messenger either.

If you are a kind of person who love to make a chat via Facebook Messenger or Facebook Chat, you must be familiar with its Emoticons. To day we noticed that there is a good step on the usage of this FB Emoticon: Right now the Facebook Chat Emoticons can be used in Facebook’s comment. Here are the example that we try on our Facebook Page: as you can see the smile emoticon, the big smile emoticon, kiss emoticons, and even some “unique” emotes like shark, putnam face aka justine bieber face and 42 number are included. What a thing?
