Sometime you wanna transfer your Messages Archive History of Yahoo Messenger to another computer and you wanna view and read all you past conversations that you had done from there. For example you just bought a new computer that runs using Windows 7 or Windows Vista Operating System and you found a trouble when you try to move your old Message Archive (for example your older Laptop / PC use Windows XP). Here are some steps and understandings that you should know. At this case we use Yahoo Messenger Version 10 (this tricks supposed to be works in older version, such as Yahoo Messenger 9.0 or even in the latest Version of Yahoo Messenger 11)

Find Location of Yahoo Messenger Message Archive on Windows XP

In Windows XP, the Location of Message Archive of Yahoo Messenger 10, it supposed to be in this folder: C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\Profiles\\. It yahoo_username folders consists of two parts: Message folder and Conference Folder (if you ever make a conversation / chat in conference room).

You need to copy paste the yahoo_username folder that consist both of those folder and its files (.dat files). You can zipped or just leave it like that.

If you want to transfer to another Computer or Laptop / Notebook/ Netbook/ that ALSO USES WINDOWS XP, all you had to do just copy past the folder to others computer in the “same location path” just like what we said above. How about if you wanna move / transfer to other Computer that used difference Windows Version such as Windows Vista or Windows 7?

This is only happen in IM (Instant Message) Window. You wouldn’t see this feature of Yahoo Messenger (10 Version) in Chat Room Window or in Conference Room. This features we called as Emoticons Helpers in IM Windows. This new features would help you to find the proper emoticon that you want to use, including the Hidden ones. Yahoo Messenger Emoticons Hidden that not been listed in Emoticon list would be available to search and find it by using this feature. For better understanding, you can see the image below:

We almost misleading on how to turn off Chat Feature on Yahoo Mail (sometime also called as Yahoo Mail Messenger aka Yahoo Messenger on Yahoo Mail as a web base) with sign out YMail. Instead of only turn off the Chat Mail Service of Yahoo, we got that we sign out of Yahoo Mail.

Finally, after searching for the log out / sign out link of Yahoo Mail Messenger, we found that the link was in the same drop down menu of status message.

The solution for your problem are: use Yahoo Messenger on the Web Chat Client, Use Newer version of Yahoo Messenger: Version 8, Version 9 or Version 10, User Unofficial chat client of Yahoo Messenger such as Yazak, Yahelite, Yahaven (of course you gotta need to install the latest version of those clients) and the last, you can use integrated yahoo messenger with yahoo mail.

I got a little problem using Yahoo Messenger 9 in my Windows Vista. Here are the complete story: Usually, when I’m not finishing my job (surfing or write an article) in my Computer (using Vista), and I got something else to do, the best option to continued my unfinished job in the future is using hibernate mode (I’m not sign off my Yahoo Messenger while hibernating my computer).

We ever promised you to make a tutorial how to use Yahaven Chat Shield and Yahaven Ghost ID.

Preparation:
Needed Thing: You must have 2 (two) Yahoo ID / Yahoo Messenger ID (Account) (This would calls as MAIN ID)
For beginner user it better that you create two 2 Yahoo Messenger ID (Account). How to create Yahoo Messenger Account just visit here.

• 1 Yahoo ID for Yahaven Chat Shield: Yahoo ID (MAIN ID) with Alias ID (More than 1 Alias is better). How to create Alias ID just click here.
• 1 Yahoo ID for Ghost ID: Alias ID not needed

Action to use Chat Shield with Ghost ID:

• Login to Yahaven using Alias ID ( First Yahoo ID that you create and you have add an Alias ID / Dont use Main ID to Login)
• Join Chat Room: Type Captcha and do the rest
• Activate Ghost ID: Click the Ghost ID button (See the image) then if you prompted windows with username and password to login, just login with your Second ID (You create two ID, use the last ID)
• Activate Chat Shield: You can activate Automatically by type /auto in chat room or click Anti Boot button (see the image). For Manually, Just Click Chat Shield Button (See the image also)

Remember, this Chat Shield is the Ultimate Keys to Obtain Yahaven as Unbootable and Anti Boot Yahoo Messenger Chat Client

Just a Note: Using Chat Shield actually is the same thing just like you using Yahoo Messenger Anti Boot Part II with Alias ID that We ever wrote before.

This is only a short tutorial (that sound easy though but for beginner users of Yahoo Messenger may be he need to know this tutorial) to Remove Friends ID on Yahoo Messenger Contact List. Usually the condition why you wanna remove or delete your friends ID because of You don’t want to talk with her/his anymore, or your friends told you that he has change the New Yahoo ID and the old ID is no longer used and want you to remove it.
