Yoonoo is OK for Facebook/Twitter. When it comes to IM’s, it becomes a piece of crap. I can’t link up with any of the 3 accounts I set up: GoogleTalk, Yahoo Messenger and Live Chat. It logs on, but can never download a friends list.
Partial waste of time.

I tried Yoono and positively hated it. I hate sidebars, PLUS it installed some little button that can’t be removed from the address bar (location bar) in Firefox.
This thing is ugly and obtrusive. I only tried it because MSN messenger no longer works without tweaking on my system. MSN tried to get me to use that “LIVE” garbage … the last version that worked was 8.5…showed some picture of who you were talking to, and stuff NO ONE NEEDS. I wish they’d QUIT DOING UPDATES that don’t work with my windows 2000 system! It works FINE until someone tries to make something NEW that I don’t want

For chatting/IMing, Meebo is great. There are a lot of options: computer download, Firefox extension, web-im, etc. All of them are easy-to-use and unobtrosive. They are very functional and have options to change appearance. The Firefox extension works great for me and I highly recommend it.
