Just like the name of this SmartPhone by Motorola: Droid X and Droid 2 were used Android as their Operating System. Even the Droid X has HD Camera feature at 8 Megapixel Camera. Droid X used Android 2.1 Enclair, and for Droid 2 it used Android 2.2 Froyo.

If you wanna using Google Talk aka GTalk inside Motorola Droid X and Droid 2, you don’t need to download the client again because it has built in GTalk Mobile Client inside the Phone.

But it differ if you wanna use Windows Live Messenger inside Motorola Droid X or Windows Live Messenger on Motorola Droid 2. You need to download and install the Windows Live Messenger for Android Phone (click the link to get the download of WLM for Android, if it available you can search it in Android Market for WLM)
