Hi, we appreciate you getting the word out about Y!Caddy, your site is ranked #1 when a google search for "Y!Caddy" is performed. Good job! I figured I could clear up a few things from your post about it. First the name.. The Caddy is short for Cadillac. It is a luxury car, commonly known for its features, and over the top refinement. So Y!Caddy, is known as the Cadillac of chat clients. Second, the offical site:

http://home-town-geek.com

You mentioned the need for the .NET framework 3.5, I would like to mention that we have included a check for the necessary framework in the installer, and if it is not installed on the users machine, it will download and install it, all from within the installer itself.

I would also like to mention the online help, directly in the chat client. This can be found by clicking on Help > Online Help. This enables us to constantly provide updated user help, without the user needing to download any additional files. (.chm's) Another feature worth mentioning is plugins. You can extend the functionality of the client with plugins, found in the plugin manager, by clicking Plugins > Plugin Manager. We have several examples of C# and vb.net on the forum so any interested developers can jump right in and make what they want, if the client doesn't have it already. Just today I released a Hulu player. Users cannow stream Hulu shows and movies, right inside the Y!Caddy window.

One final feature I would like to mention is the speed dial feature. In the built in web browser, we made it possible to "bookmark" your favorite sites, but as any Cadillac owner would say, just a text menu wouldnt cut it. So when you add a site to your speed dial, you get a clickable thumbnail of your site. Now you can facebook away right inside of Y!Caddy!
