Until right know, I still don’t find a good answer behind the reason on the Latest Version of Yahoo Messenger Client (Version 9 and Version 10 there is no feature to activate and inactivate our Alias(es) ID.
As we already knew, by using activation and inactivation of Alias ID, we could make a lot of functions: Protection us from Boot attack in Chat Room, handle from Spy Yahoo Messenger Invisible Detector and much more.
Actually, the features still available in “unofficial mode”: Using Yahoo Messenger 8 ( We afraid this version would be like the older one: 7, 5 lower: the protocol server would not supported anymore), or by using Indie Chat Client such as Yazak, Yahaven, YSupra or else.
Might be they just don’t want to add it because “a large number of users” in Yahoo didn’t use that feature, and they make conclusion that the feature is not “much” important.

Hi Chatmania,
So does that mean we cannot protect ourself from invisible checkers if we are using version 9.0 or 10.0?

@JJ: yup, there is no way to protect our self from invisible checker if you using version 9 and 10, unless you inactivated your alias ID before you go “Online”.
