We knew that Yahoo Messenger has a facility to make our ID set to be Offline when actually we are in online mode. This feature usually calls as Invisible Status. The aims of Invisible Status Feature in Yahoo Messenger is to make our ID no able to be known by others user if we are online (login in Yahoo Messenger). Therefore, they who didn’t know that we are online, not bother or take any action to us. In other case, If we do not want to be bothered by someone else, we can make our self disappear from chat.

How to Create / Make Invisible Status of Yahoo Messenger?

Simply go to Messenger Status Maker at Yahoo Messenger and choose Invisible to Everyone. Its under New Status at My Status on Messenger Tab. For quick tips follow our instruction–We used Yahoo Messenger Version 8 for YM example–below:

Yahoo Messenger >> Messenger >> My Status >> Invisible to Everyone

With Invisible mode like that, no one would knew that You are online. Your friends (usually at their messenger list) would see that You are offline, even you actually online.

Pointed your mouse to Messenger then My Status and finally click Invisible to Everyone. Just like what you saw at the picture above.

Set Make Online Status for Chosen Friend(s) ID

Invisible to Everyone would set you ID in offline status to every one of your friends, except they already knew that your are online. How if you wish one of your friend see that you are being online and the others didn’t see that you are online.

Go to one of your friend ID at your messenger list of yahoo messenger, then pointed your mouse on it. Stay it for two second and you will see a new window appear contain information about your friends ID. After that (see the picture above) click You appear offline to this contact and change it in Appear online to username

Set Offline / Invisible Permanently for Chosen ID

If you prefer to make your ID offline status or invisible status for targeted ID forever, that means your ID permanently offline or invisible to chosen ID at your Messenger list please choose Appear Permanently Offline to username

Invisible Checker: Short Review

Even yahoo  produced that such beautiful invisible status feature, we actually can use a trick to pass through that Invisible Status. This trick usually calls as Invisible Checker. With this trick even the user set their status in Invisible mode, we can check if they are online or not using Invisible Checker. Please be patient to knew how to get Invisible Checker.
