In the middle of chatting, such as when you are in Chat Room of Yahoo Messenger or you make a private Instant Message (Private Message/PM) with your friend through Yahoo Messenger, you experienced that the text goes to “blank” and whenever and whatever you type any message and press “enter” or “send” button you couldn’t see any message appear or shown up.
Even you noticed that your friend currently typing a message “your_friend is typing…” but after for a while you couldn’t see any message received or sent from your friend. If you faced this kind of problem, here are the steps that you must do to fix or resolve this problem.
The Solution / Answer for Fixing Yahoo Messenger wouldn’t Show any Text Messages Receive / Send
The Problem. The problem came from varied reason. Most of the reason behind this trouble on sending and receiving text message is came from the Internet setting from the Windows OS that had been changed accidentally. It could be because you install a software that “not safe” such as malware, or you been the setting change due to software crash or else.
First: Checking your Internet Connection
If you didn’t receive and could see any message, it could be your internet connection is in a “bad mood”, re-checking the internet connection first to make sure it run in good speed. Try to browse any website and if it open properly, that means there no problem with your internet connection, otherwise, such as you could’t open or open in slow speed, this means you had a problem with its.
Second: Uninstalling and Reinstalling Yahoo Messenger
Try to download the Yahoo Messenger Latest version and then uninstall the current version of your YM, and reinstall with the latest version. If the problem still appears, that could be your registry of internet settings.
Third: Fixing the Registry of Internet Setting of yours
Go to Registry Editor. Run >> Regedit. Then find the following folder.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Microsoft > Windows > CurrentVersion > Internet Settings > Zones >
There should be only 5 folder in the Zone folder (see the image), if you see the any folder other than 0,1,2,3,4 folders (usually placed above the 0 folder), just delete all of them.
Close Registry Editor, and Restart Your computer. That should be fixed your problem!
Fourth: Register the Script Library (.dll) of Windows
If you still got a problem with all of those, do this ways.
Go to Run (Windows + R) then type this:
regsvr32 jscript.dll then press enter
regsvr32 c:\Windows\System32\vbscript.dll press enter
Done!!

i did all that but still the problem wasn’t resolved, on one of my computer accounts the messages don’t get displayed but on another account on my computer normal display takes place, and i dont know how to resolve this problem

Oh man…
I did them all but none worked. This is really getting on my nerves!
The strange thing is that I use the same Y.Messenger on my desktop computer and it works well, but on my laptop, the only thing that I can see in the message space, is a blank white page!
Hell, pretty annoying!
