The chat rooms are closed and won’t re-open, sorry. This is the link to the messenger blog talking about the shut-down of the chat rooms, but also informing users about other changes. Depending on which features you use, you may have to adjust your browser..YAHOO GROUP SHUT DOWN since Dec 14, 2012. I was also shocked.Hoping and looking for alternatives..hope to find one soon..
