Pidgin in Ubuntu won’t Connect to Yahoo Server (Yahoo Messenger Login Problem)

If you experienced that you use Pidgin in Ubuntu and every time you try to login you got a problem with your Yahoo Messenger: Pidgin won’t connect to Yahoo Server, here is the solution of your problem:

Please Change your IP and host of page server:

  • Add cn until it like cn.scs.msg.yahoo.com
  • Change IP to 66.163.181.189
  • Change IP to 66.163.181.106
  • Change Page Server with cs101.msg.mud.yahoo.com

    • Hopefully, It would resolve your yahoo login problem with Pidgin. Sometime this could be used if you have a login problem with you Adium (for Mac OS X).
