If you have iPhone and want to use Yahoo Messenger directly from your iPhone or iPod Touch, you have to install Yahoo Messenger Chat Client for iPhone first. There are two options that would allow you to connect to Yahoo Messenger from your iPhone Smart Phone. First using

Free Yahoo Messenger for iPhone using Yahoo oneConnect™
To get Yahoo Messenger Chat Client on iPhone or iPod Touch using Yahoo oneConnect™ you have to download it on apple iphone store. To get Yahoo oneConnect™ from your Computer you should:
Launch iTunes® from you computer, then search Yahoo OneConnect™. And the rest do:
- Sync your iPhone or iPod touch with iTunes
- Go to your home screen on your device and tap on the Yahoo! oneConnect icon
- Follow the instructions to set-up Yahoo! oneConnect
You can also install Yahoo OneConnect from iPhone or iPod
The step should be like this:
- Click on the App Store icon
- Search for Yahoo! oneConnect
- Download Yahoo! oneConnect (it’s free!)

Beside of using Yahoo OneConnect you can also connect to Yahoo Messenger by installing Multiple Mobile Messenger such as eBuddy. Of course the Client should be support you iPhone. I have downloaded the free application of Yahoo messenger from itune application store. It shows in the application section in my itune software but I dont know how to install if ? It would be a great help from your side if You reply with step by step procedure of installing application on my iphone touch.

i’ve downloaded yahoo chat on my iphone and whenever i touch the icon on the touch screen, i’ll sign in automatically and can get in contact with my friends online but one little problem here is…how do I sign out of it at the end of my conversation. If I leave in online, will it be taking up my data usage time even though i’m not on chat with friends.
