I have requested help for these issues multiple times over the last, nearly 2 weeks, via my Droid Incredible and from the internet. I hope this avenue will finally yield answers!!!
I have a Droid Incredible. After using various messengers, inc. other yahoo messengers, like the web, I finally recently settled on the Yahoo Mobile Messenger for Droid. 2 things:
1. How may I save my chat(s)? this was possible in other versions, e.g. mail chat or just being able to copy/paste the text from the chat into another doc. I am unable to determine any way to keep my chat in another form other than never clearing the chat, and only having access via my Droid Incredible. Could you please tell me if there is a way, or what other messenger to use. The others each had problems, e.g., not always sending / receiving, or no notification (as with the internet version)
2. After Messenger for Droid is on for say a couple of hours, it begins to have problems, eventually devolving into missed messages, sort of like a log jam. Once I have restarted the app or in some cases, shutdown/restarted the phone, everything finally shows up. I regularly clean up apps to free up memory using TaskKiller/Advanced, easily once every 2-3 hours. Since getting the Incredible, I have downloaded 4 or 5 apps, so it is not overwhelmed with applications. I can now tell when it is “on its way out” because the notification pops become multiple for each entry, 2, 3, 4 or sometimes even 5 pops per entry.
Can you help with these 2 items?
Would SOMEONE please RSPOND?
